KIWA is a tool designed to support individuals in the field of social work, focusing on training future professionals in child abuse assessment. The training takes place in a highly immersive VR environment, allowing users to engage with realistic scenarios and practice their assessment skills in a safe, controlled setting. In addition to the VR component, we developed a companion application to complement the training experience. This app was designed to enhance the user’s learning process, providing additional resources, tracking progress, and offering feedback. Throughout development, the app underwent multiple rounds of testing, where feedback was gathered and used to refine the user experience.
