Contribution: User Interface, Illustrations, User Testing and Research

We were tasked with redesigning the user interface of the ZVV ticket machines. Our process began with extensive research, where we analyzed the current status quo and conducted interviews with typical users to understand their pain points and needs. Through user testing, mentoring sessions, and several class presentations, we iterated on our design to ensure it was both modern and user-friendly. The goal was to create an interface that felt intuitive for a wide range of passengers, from frequent commuters to occasional users, while maintaining the conventional features and familiarity that people rely on. In the end, we developed an efficient UI that enhances the user experience without straying too far from the traditional structure people are accustomed to.
